Matthew joined VDW Law in 2017 and became an Associate after being called to the Alberta Bar in 2018. He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and a JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law. A native of Calgary, he now lives there with his wife, Alex, son William, and their pets.

Matthew’s practice includes Corporate and Commercial Law, focusing on contract reviews, shareholder agreements, and corporate reorganizations. He also specializes in Estate Planning, drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, and handling estate administration and tax planning.
